We did it!

Gary, Paul, Jess, Penny, Rachael, Lorraine, Max and Carolyn started the walk at 8.30 am from the Northwich office, taking in the sights along the beautiful Cheshire waterways.

A few stops en route at the Big Locke and Mr & Mrs Makin’s house, Catrina and Claire joined the team at the Aqueduct Marina for the remaining 7 miles.

After a short stop at the Venetian Marina for a quick loo break, brew and slice of cake, the team powered on all the way to Nantwich, finishing at our Nantwich office at 4.30 pm. After a quick photo, we hobbled to the pub for a well-deserved pint!

21.4 miles were completed and every penny raised is going to The Manchester Foundation Trust.

There is still time to sponsor us – we’d love to smash the £2,000 target and we’re nearly there.

The MFT supported one of our staff members during her treatment for blood cancer and we as a team wanted to give back.

Please support us by donating what you can – thank you.

As a charity our mission is simple: to support the excellence in treatment, research and care we provide to our patients at our family of 10 NHS hospitals in Manchester and Trafford, each and every day.

We want to make a real difference to the people we treat young and old by making sure that they continue to receive the very best treatment in the very best facilities. We do this by focusing our fundraising efforts on three key areas treatment, research and care. This can include the purchase of cutting-edge equipment, funding pioneering medical research and creating a patient-friendly environment allowing patients, and their families, to feel welcome and at ease during their time in hospital.

Thank you for sponsoring us.
